Boigraphy | Shao-Kang Hung received B.S. and M.S. degrees in mechanical engineering from National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan, in 1998 and 2000, respectively. Since 2000, he has been with Nanoscience Laboratory, Institute of Physics, Academia Sinica, Taiwan, where he has been involved in nanopositioning and scanning probe microscopy. He received his Ph.D. in electrical engineering from National Taiwan University in 2007. Since 2008, he has been a member of the faculty at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, Taiwan, where he is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. His research interests include opto-mechatronic systems, nanometer-scale instrumentation, precision motion control, and robotics. His team created the most funded project, Cubiio 2, in Fabrication Tools category on Kickstarter. |
