實習機構簡介:
Dyson is a company known for its outstanding commitment to developing revolutionary solutions to every-day problems. Their revolutionary bagless vacuum cleaner has, over the last fourteen years, taken the worldwide market by storm and allowed them to become the most successful manufacturer in our field. Their products are the result of years of innovation and perseverance in design.
The dedication and perseverance of Analysis Team in Dyson is one of the cornerstones for Dyson to attain new heights and scale higher peaks. Analysis team composes of Fluid Dynamics Team, Structural Team and Acoustic Team. Their role is to provide solutions to Dyson products through rigorous testing of products, computing numerical simulations, analysing of data and performing extensive experimental study. In Fluid Dynamics Team, in particular, they have experience dealing with different flow phenomena and have performed numerous experimental investigations on different Dyson products. Furthermore, CFD study and analysis are constantly being carried out in their team with the aim of better understand the flow structure and to come out with improvement designs.
海外實習執行內容:
Intro – CAD Modelling
Intro – CFD Modelling
Intro – Fluid Dynamics
Basic Application of Statistics
General Dyson Training Package
Mentoring by senior engineers
There will be one supervisor guiding the interns thought out the program. The guidance included CFD methodology and application in industrial area, parametric study (Design of Experiment), and experiment testing (if needed, e.g. airflow measurement, flow visualization, data acquisition and analysis). In the meantime, the interns will undergo weekly review on progress status with supervisor and monthly tollgate presentation to the team.
