Chen-yang Lan received the B.S. degree in mechanical
engineering from National Tsing Hua University, Hsinchu, Taiwan, in 1998, the M.S. degree in mechanical engineering from Texas A&M University, in 2004, and the Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from Texas A&M University, in 2008. He is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST), Taipei, Taiwan. His research interests include intelligent control systems, quantitative feedback theory, system identification, condition monitoring, fault detecting and isolation and energy measurement and verification. His research works appear in MDPI Sensors, MDPI Energies, International Journal of Robust and Nonlinear Control, IEEE
