Biography:
Chieh-Chih (Bob) Wang received his Ph.D. in Robotics from the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University in 2004. From 2004 to 2005, he was an Australian Research Council (ARC) Research Fellow of the ARC Centre of Excellence for Autonomous Systems and the Australian Centre for Field Robotics at the University of Sydney. From 2005 to 2015, he was with the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering and the Graduate Institute of Networking and Multimedia at National Taiwan University. From 2015 to 2016, he worked at the Special Projects Group of Apple Inc. He is currently a professor with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, National Chiao Tung University. His research interests include robotics, machine perception and machine learning.
