Summary
Prof Liu received the Ph.D. degree from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan. He is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, National Yang-Ming University, Taiwan. His research is on Photonic Crystal, Light Scattering and Photonic Nanojet and their biomedical applications.  His research outcomes and prolific publications were world recognized, with 66 SCI-indexed journal papers. He had been principal investigators of    national research project on nanometric metrology and ministry-of-economy granted advanced research project.  He had helped TSMC resolved the problems of measuring surface particles on silicon wafers by means of light-scattering metrology.
